Vallejo, California, March the 16, I now am writing a little histry of my life at the age of eighty eight. I was raised on the frontiers of Missouri...lived there 50 years. Then moved to Kansas with my family. In 1871 moved on the frontiers of Kansas. Went through a lot of hardships. My husband (second husband, John Hoskins) worked on the Iowa railraod last to Farlington, Kansas. In 1927 I come to my son R H Fanning to California to a new climate altogether different from back east. I have some light days and dark days but have fought all with the spirit of faith with the love of my Master so far.

I was raised in 6 miles of the county seat of Dade Co. MO, Greenfield being the county seat. Also been in Springfield, Mo; Dadeville, Mo; Carthage, Mo; Joplin, Mo; Lamar, Mo; Arcola, Mo; Cedarville, Mo; Slocton, Mo; Cane Hill, Mo; Sedalia, Mo.

I now come to Kansas: "Seared" Kan; Mulbury, Kansas; Pittsburg, Kansas; Fort Scott, Kansas; Farlington, Kansas, Pawnee, Kansas; Coffeeville, Kansas, Fredona, Kansas.
